friday focus – Retro Kids

I always thought that I was a pretty savvy shopper. Not in a financial sense, more in a ‘oh, if you need THAT, then you’ll need to go HERE’ sense. Kind of also like my sister, who is a designer – as soon as she saw a long lens fuzzy paparazzi picture of Kim Kardashian’s wedding dress, she IMMEDIATELY went “oh, that’s Givenchy.” And she was right (and that’s why she’s bloody great at what she does).

Animal prints are *everywhere* this autumn/winter season. They have been for a couple of years, but there seems to have been an explosion of them recently. This can be good (i.e. on kids, it’s mega cute) but this has been bad (i.e. on adult christmas style jumpers – these are Never Good and Not Cute).

I am a clothes finding ninja. {bows slowly}

As we sat down for coffee a couple of weeks ago, my friend Katie said to me “you like looking at websites for children’s clothes, right?” It was disappointing to hear this from a woman who has become a great friend of mine over the last three years (we paid to be each other’s friend we met at NCT classes) as when she said that, I felt like she DIDN’T KNOW ME AT ALL.
