Friday 3rd October is Buy British Day, so instead of focussing on one particular brand, I decided I would feature a few different brands who fall under the Buy British banner!
I’ve tried to include brands which are based in, and manufacture their goods in Britain, but I’ve also included a few other British brands which, although they might not manufacture in the UK, they are still worthy of your attention and pennies 🙂
although we never had a morrck, I have many friends who evangelise over them! This is another thing to go on the list for my new niece or nephew 😉
Michiko and Me
one: Liberty print Michiko Kimono wrap dress in Mitsi Blue, £45, 5yrs – 8yrs
two: Bib in Liberty print Umbel, £12, one size
three: Liberty print bubble shorts in Mauvey, from £37, 6m – 7yrs
four: Iroka Liberty print top in Mitsi pink, £42, 2yrs – 7yrs
Aren’t these THE most gorgeous prints? Such beautiful materials, and I love the wrap dress and the kimono styling, so very Japanese. The website also does a dress (sadly out of stock) called the Four Year Dress – worth an investment I’m sure 🙂
Daisy Roots
one: Flower & Butterfly soft soled leather baby booties shoes, £19, 12m – 4yrs
two: Dog on Navy soft soled leather baby bootie shoes, £19, 0m – 4yrs
three: London Bus soft soled leather baby bootie shoes, £19, 0m – 4yrs
four: Embroidered Red Hearts on white soft soled leather baby booties, £20.50, 0 – 24m
I LOVE these little boots, both Coco and Otis had a pair each, they were worn into the ground! I love all the little designs too. I’m sure we have some Saltire ones in the cupboard that are still that little bit too big at the moment…
Wild Things
one: Personalised Circus Teepee Den Wigwam, £180
two: Boys’ Raccoon dungarees, £44, 6m – 4yrs
three: Girls Summer Dress With Digital Print Retro Pocket, £38, 3m – 6rs
four: Cat Cape Costume, £55, 1yr – 8yrs
As I was doing the above collage, Coco said to me “I want those on my happy birthday list please mummy”! I daren’t tell her I’ve already put the eepee on her shared Xmas list with Otis! I love all their gorgeous a line dresses, and their animal costumes, I could spend a TON of money on this brand! They have an etsy shop and are stocked by notonthehighstreet.
Little Shrimp
one: Baby Boy romper – Bob, £21, 3m – 24m
two: Fleece baby girls’ jacket – Cheltenham, £35, 3m – 24m
three: Flower wrap dress – Daisy, £24, 3-6m
four: Stripe trouser – Billy, £16.50, 3m – 24m
Such gorgeous and simple stuff here, those stripey leggings wouldn’t have been out of place on my “find me… boys’ leggings” post last week!
Toby Tiger

four: Organic Cotton Blue Multi Stripe Long Sleeve T-Shirt Dress, £23.99, 6m – 6yrs
Oh man, I LOVE toby tiger. Their bold colours, soft cotton, cheeky appliqués, they are iconic. Both my kids have had their stuff, and is have one of their receiving blankets, which holds a very dear place in my heart.
Tootsa MacGinty

I am always a fan of a unisex brand, anything that both my kids can wear and look ace is awesome. I LOVE the day of the dead sweatshirt here 🙂
Phew! A handful of great British brands for you to be introduced to, and if you are already aware of them, why not revisit their websites and have a look?
Have an awesome weekend,
