Sales are on, but as well as meaning that there’s many a bargain to be found, it also means that the pre-Christmas drops have started! This is undoubtedly my favourite drop of the year – deciding what to put me and the kids in over Christmas and the dreary winter months.

one of my most favourite days when I was younger was the day the next directory, as heavy as a brick, arrived in our front doorstep. invariably mum wouldn’t get a chance to look at it until I had, and I would go through the book, deciding what I wanted for my birthday or Christmas or just because. I still love nosing through the directory, and still spend ages poring over it to this day.

As soon as I saw the winter brights range, I was in love. I love this floral print (can you tell?!) – it’s a little bit vintage, but a lot happy. It incorporates many of my favourite colours too – navy, coral and teal.
